What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
Supported Independent Living is designed to provide supports for people with a disability to live
as independently as possible.
SIL funding is for people who require support in their homes with daily living skills. Typically, the funding is used to cover the cost of staff in the house
At Newstart we are fully equipped to provide SIL to our participants from any of our properties. Why choose us to provide your SIL support? We have a number of houses available now and our new homes are specially designed to suit people with disabilities and our highly experienced
staff will ensure you get the best possible care and support you need.
Supports you can expect at our SIL accommodation:
